A PARTNERSHIP TO INCREASE SCRIPTURE ENGAGEMENT AND BIBLICAL WORLDVIEW

The vision of Kansas Christian College (KCC) is to see thousands of students change the world for Jesus Christ. KCC’s mission is to develop servant leaders who know God, who have a passion for holiness of heart, and who are inspired and prepared for a lifetime of learning and Kingdom service. KCC has an 84-year history of training and equipping leaders for ministry and the marketplace right here in the Kansas City area. Students and graduates from KCC have ministered, and continue to minister, around the world, spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ to those in cultures that had a great need to know Him.

With The Sending Project’s emphasis on Bible engagement and connecting the citywide Body of Christ to maximize Kingdom impact, we believe this partnership allows us to leverage the great ministry of KCC to bolster and equip the citywide Church of Kansas City for ministry through increasing Bible engagement and Biblical worldview.

OPPORTUNITIES IN CONNECTION WITH THIS PARTNERSHIP

1) Pastor and Church Leader Training

Pastors and church leaders of Sending Alliance Churches can receive two free classes through KCC’s Professional and Online Studies Program. These are college credit courses that can be taken for personal enrichment or to apply toward a college degree or for continung education. Courses are online and run for a period of five weeks. For those who desire a in-person class option, those can be arranged, based on enrollment numbers. Courses include Principles of the Christian Life, Bible Study Methods, Discipling and Mentoring in the Christian Faith, etc.

2) Tuition Discounts

Any person attending a Sending Alliance Church can receive a 10% discount on accelerated online and onsite, as well as traditional program tuition. Accelerated Online and Onsite Associate & Bachelor of Arts Degrees are available in the following areas: Leadership & Ministry (with concentrations in Org Leadership, Pastoral Ministry, or Youth Ministry), Business, Psychology, Healthcare Administration, & Worship Institute

3) Church Seminars

KCC is equipped to offer seminars on a variety of subjects, including stand-alone topics or a series of seminars with a particular focus. Sending Alliance churches are eligible to receive one free seminar of their choice to be offered on location at their church or on the campus of Kansas Christian College. Additional seminars are available for a reasonable rate.
