The Sending Project is connecting and mobilizing the citywide Body of Christ to live as sent ones locally and globally, for the purpose of getting the good news of Jesus and the demonstrated love of Jesus to KC and beyond, even to the ends of the earth.

While we agree with Augustine’s statement, that in non-essentials we should practice liberty, belief in the triune Godhead and belief in both the deity and humanity of Jesus, the only begotten Son of God, are Sending Project essentials.

Therefore, we require that any church that joins The Sending Alliance adheres to the Apostles’ Creed, the Nicene Creed, and/or the NAE Statement of Faith.

The Sending Project also aligns with Cru’s statement on Biblical teaching about sexuality and gender.

While we network and fellowship with a broader variety of churches, ministries, etc, we believe it is important for churches in The Sending Alliance and all ministry partners of The Sending Project to align with the above-stated theological and Biblical statements and creedst
