JOHN & PHYLLIS HARTMAN: SERVING THE SERVANTS IN MEXICO

Since our inauguration in 2010, The Sending Agency has always existed to empower individuals to live out their callings through the integration of developmental coaching, financial management, and innovative partnerships. We aim to celebrate everyone’s unique gifts and passions while providing a pathway to connect those individuals with the support they need to make their dreams a reality. Today we want to celebrate two of our agents, John and Phyllis Hartman of Lenexa, KS.
As laypeople of the church, they are desiring to mimic Abraham and Moses in continuing Kingdom work into their later years (they were married in 1965, which could give you info to roughly extrapolate their ages). They have been members of one of our Alliance Churches, Westside Family Church in Lenexa, for 20+ years and met at Bethany College in Lindsborg, Kansas. They have each taught in varied school experiences both here locally in the KC Metro Area and Desoto, and in varied international locations such as Alaska, Albania, Jordan, Tanzania, Nigeria, Prague, and currently in Mazatlan, Mexico.
Their current mission involves homeschooling missionary children and serving YWAM teams, while gaining credibility and contacts in Mazatlan as they work alongside of multiple organizations in the city.
Through The Sending Agency, they now have a convenient way for anyone who so desires to contribute finanancially to the living and travel expenses that they incur while serving abroad on their adventures in the Kingdom. They normally self-fund on their Kingdom adventures but any financial help is always greatly appreciated as they continue to look for opportunities to help missionary families around the world.
