We believe that when this happens, we will see an unprecedented advancement of God’s Kingdom impact in and through the citywide Church of KC, reaching near and far.

We believe that we will see a greater fulfillment of the Great Commission in the KC metro and surrounding area that results in both a local and global impact as the citywide Church works together more strategically in connection with Jesus and His mission.

We invite you to go on this collaborative journey as God works through the citywide Body of Christ to saturate KC and impact the world. Saturate KC is about the vision of God’s Word, missional prayer, and the Gospel of Jesus saturating the KC metro area. Saturate KC is also a radio podcast ministry and a growing meta-network of missional networks within the KC metro area.

The three pillars of Saturate KC are Bible engagement, missional prayer, and the Gospel of Jesus.

Bible Engagement

Imagine the transformational impact of 1,000,000 people in the KC area engaging with God’s Word. This is the dream we are pursuing through a movement called the KC Bible Experience: a multi-year, Kansas City Metro Area Scripture engagement initiative offering structure and facilitation for congregations, other groups, and individuals to experience the life-changing message of God’s Word.

Be a part of the movement! Explore the Bible, Engage with the Bible, Experience the Bible! Wherever you are in your journey with the Bible, there is a way for you to connect with the KC Bible Experience as an individual and/or as a church, ministry, or other organization or group.

The KC Bible Experience is a multi-year, Kansas City Metro Area Scripture engagement initiative offering structure and facilitation for church congregations, ministries, other organizations or groups, and individuals to experience the life-changing message of God’s Word.

In ministry partnership with the American Bible Society and Biblica, we offer a variety of resources and tools — both digital and print — that can help you, your church, your ministry, or your organization or group explore and engage with God’s Word.

Missional Prayer

Be part of the growing number of Christ followers who are praying regularly for God’s Kingdom advancement through a more unified and strategically coordinated KC-area Body of Christ.

We’re dreaming, praying, and working toward connecting 100,000 followers of Jesus in this missional prayer effort. We’re talking about the kind of prayer that willingly responds to the Holy Spirit’s leading and takes action.

We believe that Jesus gives us the words that lead to real life. He summed up the path when He said to love the Lord God with all your heart, soul, mind and strength and to love your neighbor as yourself.

We dream of the day and pray for the day when every neighborhood in the KC metro and surrounding area will have a praying person or a prayer group loving God and loving the neighbors…and that there will be a day when every person in the KC area will wake up with a neighbor praying for them by name!

You are the one God’s placed in your family and your neighborhood. Live on mission every day with prayer that leads to caring for others and sharing the love of Jesus with others.

You can do it, we will help, and together we will prayerfully love our city to life in Jesus.

Gospel Saturation

Whether you are representing yourself and/or your church, ministry, or other organization or group, you can connect with the Saturate KC Gospel Saturation community.

We’re building a Gospel Saturation Network of churches, ministries, businesses, and other groups that are involved in some aspect of the Gospel of Jesus spreading across the KC metro and surrounding area, in word and/or action. There are a myriad of approaches and strategies for sharing the love of Jesus and making disciples, and as long they don’t violate Biblical principles, we celebrate the diversity of these approaches and strategies! Whether its discovery groups, justice causes, or verbal proclamation (to name just a few), we believe there is great value in the citywide Body of Christ being thoroughly networked around the central theme of the Gospel of Jesus being spread throughout Kansas City. It doesn’t mean that a church or ministry loses its identity…in fact the opposite is true…we need each approach that the Lord has orchestrated to be a part of this citywide Gospel Saturation effort. So, we invite you to join the movement.

We’re also identifying and connecting 10,000 followers of Jesus who are Living as Sent Ones. If you are an individual who is living out your God-given missional calling, then you are living as a sent one. We want to celebrate that with you and encourage you. If you’re just taking a step toward understanding your God-given missional calling, we want to help you along on that journey.

Imagine the citywide Church realizing its full potential as it networks and unites around Jesus and His mission, and His followers are living out their God-given missional calling! It will eventually take the whole Church to fulfill the whole mission of bringing the whole Gospel to the whole city! Together we seek to see the Holy Spirit saturate the life of each Christ-follower overflowing into a lifestyle of disciple-making in every neighborhood throughout the urban, suburban and rural communities of the greater KC metro area.

Saturate KC Radio Broadcasts

Every Saturday morning the Saturate KC Broadcast airs on the Bott Radio Network in the KC metro and surrounding area. You can hear these broadcasts at 9:00am on 92.3 FM and at 10:30am on 760 AM, 96.9 FM, and 101.5 FM. Eric Rochester, the Executive Director of The Sending Project, hosts these broadcasts which feature guests from the KC area and beyond, discussing how God is working to saturate KC with His Word, missional prayer, and the Gospel of Jesus. Karen Blankenship, the Program Director with The Sending Project, is the co-host for these radio broadcasts.

Saturate KC Podcasts

Saturate KC radio broadcasts that air on the Bott Radio Network in the KC metro and surrounding area are placed on the Saturate KC website as podcasts. Eric Rochester, the Executive Director of The Sending Project, hosts these podcasts which feature guests from the KC area and beyond, discussing how God is working to saturate KC with His Word, missional prayer, and the Gospel of Jesus. Saturate KC Meta-Network

Saturate KC is also a meta-network of missional networks. It includes pastors, church leaders, ministry leaders, marketplace leaders, and others from all across the KC metro area, celebrating how God is working through the citywide Body of Christ to reach toward the saturation of the Kansas City area with His presence.
