The Sending Project is built on the Biblical truth that we are better together. In John 17:23b,  Jesus prayed for His followers in this way:

“…May they experience such perfect unity that the world will know that you sent me and that you love them as much as you love me.”

Unity and mission are divinely and strategically connected!

Our focus at The Sending Project is to create meaningful relationships among the Body of Christ that maximize the advancement of God’s Kingdom near and far, and we do that through a variety of ministry areas that we call enterprises. There are eight of these enterprises and, while each one is unique, they all support the primary focus of helping you and citywide Body of Christ be as effective as you (and all Jesus followers) can possibly be in advancing God’s Kingdom.

You may connect with The Sending Project as a pastor or church leader. We are here to serve you and connect with you with other leaders among citywide Church of Kansas City and provide great missional resources for you and your church. 

You may connect with The Sending Project through one or more of the citywide missional networks that we facilitate.

You many connect with The Sending Project through our various Bible outreach and Bible engagement intiatives and resources.

You may connect with The Sending Project through our ministry of trauma healing.

You may connect with The Sending Project through our missional prayer ministry.

You may connect with The Sending Project through our collective outreach platform.

You may connect with The Sending Project through our agency which helps people pursue and fulfill their God-given missional calling.

You may connect with The Sending Project through our global reach ministry.

Many people connect with The Sending Project through more than just one of these enterprises. And, of course, many people connect with The Sending Project as volunteers, prayer partners, and financial partners.

And I want to give a big shout out to our amazing Sending Project staff and board members! I am so thankful for each of them!

The point here is that all of the above ways of connecting with The Sending Project are happening within the foundational context of our primary focus: creating meaningful relationships among the Body of Christ that maximize the advancement of God’s Kingdom near and far.

We really are better together.
