Getting God’s Word to Those Who Don’t Yet Have It in Their Heart Language

For a long time now, The Sending Project has had a priority for mobilizing awareness and involvement related to helping people groups around the world have the Bible in their heart language. These Bible translation and/or recording projects are vital for the accomplishment of the Great Commission.

When someone can access the Word of God in their heart language, they understand that God speaks their language…the language they grew up speaking and the language they dream in. We, at The Sending Project, have been extremely blessed over the years to partner in ministry with great organizations such as The Seed Company and Faith Comes By Hearing to further the work of Bible translation and recording.

The KC metro area is very blessed to have a number of churches and individuals who have helped provide funding for these important Scripture ministries to be conducted and further expand God’s Kingdom. I believe another surge of this activity in the KC area is about to happen!

Clint Hall, The Sending Project’s Church Relations Director, is coordinating a special event being planned for early March of 2023. This special event will feature Grace Townsend Goreth, the daughter of Cameron Townsend, who was the founder of Wycliffe Bible Translators and one of the main pioneers of the modern missionary movement.

Grace serves as a member of the Board of Director for JAARS, a multidisciplinary team of problem-solvers committed to the belief—and the vision—that people’s lives and communities are transformed as they experience God’s Word in their own languages.

Let’s pray and work to see many KC-area churches and individuals work together to get God’s Word to those who don’t yet have it in their heart language! And, pastors and church leaders, plan on joining us for this special luncheon in KC in early March of 2023 that will feature Grace Townsend Goreth and emphasize the opportunity and Kingdom impact of this vital ministry of getting the Bible to people groups who don’t yet have it in their heart language!
