Why Trauma Healing?
Trauma knows no boundaries of nationality, gender, age, social class, or race. We all live in a fallen world and groan inwardly from the painful consequences of the Fall. Trauma can create a barrier to people engaging with Scripture and creates a barrier to God, community, and self. People who have experienced trauma may read the Bible or hear scripture spoken, but yet the messages they so desperately need may not get into their hearts due to trauma. A Bible-based response to trauma and the Church being equipped to provide it can bring forth much fruit. The Church is uniquely called to this mission field of trauma healing.

Her strong desire is to help and encourage hurting women. An outgoing and multifaceted person, Edna enjoys singing and acting and speaking with women, men, and children about the GOD she serves. She is involved with a number of other ministries, churches and districts as her time allows. Edna serves on the board for Being Present on Purpose a 5013C establishment founded her niece.
Edna became a Trauma Healing Facilitator in July 2020. She is now a Trauma Healing Training Facilitator as of October 2021. She has participated and facilitated many trauma healing groups.
