During Lent, we are reminded of the need to lament all that is not yet as it should be. Therefore, Dr. John Nielson will be utilizing Psalms of lament to help us personally and corporately express our sorrows to God.
Dr. Nielson’s experience as a lead pastor, worship pastor, and faculty member at Eastern Nazarene College helped him study lament and see the value of lament within a congregation. His dissertation for his Doctorate of Ministry from NTS was entitled, Developing Practices of Corporate Lament for the Local Parish.
