At this SPECIAL BEGINNING OF YEAR MM ZOOM meeting we will only have one presenter.  We will take the remainder of the time (approximately one hour) for the ministries gathered on Zoom to share the ONE “MOST SIGNIFICANT” THING THAT GOD DID IN THEIR MINISTRY or IN THEIR LIFE in 2024 and then what

ONE THING THE HOLY SPIRIT HAS REVEALED THAT GOD IS GOING TO DO IN THE YEAR OF OUR LORD 2025.

Tiffany Hurt will share with us about mobilizing disciples “to love mercy, do justly and to walk humbly with God”.

Tiffany is loved by God and believes this is the most important thing about her. This truth is the foundation of her identity, life and work. She is on a lifelong journey of loving God and people along with embodying passion for God and compassion for all people. Life has afforded her the glorious privilege of expressing this compassion through ministry opportunities in various settings to all ages and people including youth shelters, group homes, juvenile detention facilities for unaccompanied youth from the border as well as churches, nursing care facilities, homes and hospitals.

Tiffany endeavors to be a TRUE Disciple of the Way (being with Him, beholding Him and becoming like Him) and to disciple others in the Way as well. The essence of this discipleship is helping others to rightly understand who God is, what He is like and how to become like Him by “practicing steadfast love, justice and righteousness in the earth” as He does (Jeremiah 9:24).

Her focused mission in this season is mobilizing disciples “to love mercy, do justly and to walk humbly with God” (Micah 6:8). For this purpose, she is available to come alongside churches, ministries, organizations, groups and individuals who are interested in GROWING DEEPER in understanding of and GOING DEEPER in engaging in intimacy with Jesus, prayer, community engagement, racial reconciliation, works of justice and service to the poor as shown in scripture.

The vision of her work is to see people of faith be agents of city transformation by repairing/restoring foundations of systems broken by historical injustice (Isaiah 58); building a collaborative citywide wall of prayer, unity and justice (Nehemiah 3-4); and showing love to our neighbors by bringing healing in specific ways they have need or are experiencing the fruit of oppression (Matthew 25:31-40; Luke 10:25-37). She wholeheartedly believes when a unified church engages and city transformation happens, fruit will be seen in young men of color being spared from violence and living to fulfill their prophetic destiny in Kansas City and the Kingdom of God.

Tiffany’s passion is unity, love and reconciliation in the Body of Christ. She connects with several ministries, churches, nonprofits and initiatives throughout the city in partnership with the prayers of Jesus that His Father’s Kingdom would come and His will would be done on the earth as it is in Heaven through the unity and love of His family (Matthew 6; John 17). She believes the Body of Christ is better together and asks the question, “What can we do that will bring God the GREATEST GLORY that He otherwise would not receive unless we do it TOGETHER?”

God has been speaking to her about Deuteronomy 6:4-5 (as referenced in Matthew 22:37-40 and Luke 10:25-37) and highlighting the trifold aspect of discipleship—mind (orthodoxy), heart (orthopathy) and strength/might (orthopraxy).
