Dr. Kimberlee Gill will share with us about Maranatha Christian Academy.
Dr. Kimberlee Gill serves as Superintendent of Maranatha Christian Academy in Shawnee, Kansas. With more than 30 years of Christian education leadership, she has devoted her life to equipping students to follow Jesus through exceptional education in a Christ-centered community.
Throughout her career, Dr. Gill has served as a teacher, principal, academic dean, Chief Academic Officer, and superintendent in Christian schools within Colorado, Missouri, and Kansas. She is passionate about developing schools that are academically excellent, financially healthy, and spiritually vibrant while preparing the next generation to influence culture for Christ. She has a heart to empower parents through school choice advocacy.
At Maranatha Christian Academy, she is leading initiatives that extend well beyond the classroom, including expanding career exploration and internships with local businesses, strengthening partnerships with churches and Christian organizations, launching both a special education program and a dual diploma (AS degree in business), and building collaborative opportunities that unite the Christian community throughout the Kansas. Her vision is to see every student discover God’s calling, develop their unique gifts, and become a lifelong Kingdom servant.
Dr. Gill holds a Doctorate in Educational Leadership and serves as the Kansas and greater Kansas City area field director for ACSI. She has frequently spoken on Christian leadership, school revitalization, strategic planning, and living faithfully through seasons of adversity. Her personal testimony includes God’s faithfulness through significant health challenges, personal loss, and seasons of rebuilding, experiences that have deepened her dependence upon Christ and strengthened her desire to encourage others.
She and her husband, Patrick, live in the Kansas City area and enjoy spending time with their three children and four grandchildren.

About Building Bridges KC
Building Bridges exists to bring quality, holistic mental health services to people living in underserved communities. We rely on the guidance of the Holy Spirit as we meet with clients who have experienced trauma and hardship. Our desire is that they discover God’s great love during their healing journey.
Building Bridges is also honored to serve Pastors and ministry leaders monthly with our Family Table luncheon. This time of fellowship is a great time to get to know other local pastors from different backgrounds, different denominations and different ethnicities. Family Table helps us remember that we are just one big family in the Kingdom of God. God is pleased when His children break bread together around the table.
We also have a monthly meeting called Acts 2 Gathering. This is a time of when leaders gather to seek God through listening prayer. God always meets us when we walk together in unity.
