Jeff Barclay will share with us about the CrossGen Life ministry

Jeff and Cindy Barclay and their family have been in Lawrence, Kansas, since 2004.  The Barclays moved to Kansas from Galesburg, IL when Jeff became the Administrator of Veritas Christian School.

Jeff has been an active networker and is familiar face in many ministry initiatives throughout the Kansas City metro area.  He is the facilitator of the EFCA KC Metro Pastors and Missionaries Cluster.

Jeff has been a schoolteacher, university head track coach, church planter, a church revitalizer, denominational district overseer, youth camp speaker, pro-life and school choice lobbyist, Christian school science teacher and administrator, and pastor.  Jeff is ordained in the Evangelical Free Church and is a part of the Church Ambassador Network with Kansas Family Voice.

Cindy has been a home school mom, Christian school music teacher, long-time worship director, and co-laborer with Jeff.  Now a grandmother with the license plate NANA247, that probably describes her heart best.

Jeff and Cindy have six adult children. Their second child went to heaven at the age of two.  They have 22 grandchildren and will soon be adding number 23 once an adoption is completed.

Currently Jeff and Cindy are currently guiding Christ Community Church through a merger with Story Hill Church, which is part of the Salt Network of campus ministries.  Beginning July 1, Jeff and Cindy will be fully engaged as Co-Directors of a brand-new ministry called CrossGen Life.

In a nutshell they will be “Missionaries to the generations.” Explaining what that means is the reason for his appearance on this episode of Mission Mobilizers.

Jeff emailed me the following: Cindy and I find it fascinating that God named himself after generations!

Exodus 3:15 God also said to Moses, “Say to the Israelites, ‘The Lord, the God of your fathers—the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac and the God of Jacob—has sent me to you.’

“This is my name forever,
the name you shall call me
from generation to generation.

For the Lord is good and his love endures forever; his faithfulness continues through all generations.  Psalms 100:5
