In a culture where our differences often push us to opposing corners rather than into hard conversations-how can we learn to listen to one another? When we look at the Gospels, we see Jesus listened well and engaged with others even when they had different views and doubted who He was.
In this workshop, we will learn to explore tools and skills to help us become better listeners in all situations from intimate relationships and family dynamics to political discussions or dealing with community issues. Our guest presenter is a local Christian Counselor and former youth minister. Jim Sites will guide us through exercises to learn what it takes to listen well in all types of scenarios when differences make it challenging for us to listen well.
