KC Pastors & Church Leaders Network Luncheon

The Whole Gospel for a Hurting World: Faithful Leadership in Unstable Times

Presented in ministry partnership by the National Association of Evangelicals, Kansas Christian College, and The Sending Project.

The world is shifting fast. Communities are fracturing. Needs are mounting. And people are watching to see whether the Church has anything real to say.

This is not a moment to go quiet.

Join The Sending Project, the National Association of Evangelicals, and Kansas Christian College for ministry updates and a conversation designed for pastors and Christian leaders who want to lead with both conviction and credibility — in their congregations, their communities, and the public square.

Steven Eng, NAE Advocacy Director, and Joel Kersey, NAE South Central Regional Representative, will be joined by local pastors to explore what faithful, whole-Gospel leadership looks like in a generation marked by immigration tensions, economic pressure, global poverty, life-impeding trauma, and a watching world hungry for answers the Church actually has.

Together we’ll examine:
  • Why credible Gospel witness requires engaging the hard conversations, not avoiding them
  • How churches are practically addressing immigration, poverty, and global healthcare — in partnership with governments and ministries around the world
  • How to lead your congregation with both truth and grace when the issues feel impossibly polarized
  • How to minister to people in a way that brings restoration and healing in the midst of societal turmoil and trauma
This is not about politics. It’s about mission. And the most effective missionaries have always gone where the need is greatest.

Optional Campus Tour: Dr. Chad Pollard, President of Kansas Christian College, will lead a campus tour, starting at approximately 1:50pm. This tour will last approximately 30 minutes.
