ISRAEL TRIP

FEBRUARY 11-21, 2027

Experience the sights and sounds of the land that God set aside for His people and to work out His redemptive plan. Journey through the land of Bible, walk where Jesus walked, and visit historical places of Bible stories. Experience the Holy Land during February of 2027 with The Sending Project.

All included, and so much more! This Israel trip is for pastors and other followers of Jesus.

OUR ISRAELI GUIDE: SHIMON ZEMER

Our Israeli tour guide for this Israel trip will be Shimon Zemer, from Israel. Shimon is a Jewish Israeli who was our tour guide for our January 2023 Israel Trip, and he is also on board to be our tour guide for our February 2027 Israel Trip! After serving with the Israeli Air Force, Shimon guided Israeli groups touring Romania, Italy, and Turkey, specializing in Christianity, history, and archaeology. He taught Christianity and Israeli studies at Bat Yam College in Israel. And since 1999, he has been guiding groups as they tour Israel, including our group during January 2023! Shimon brings a wealth of relevant knowledge, information, and perspective (and a witty sense of humor!) to this February 2027 Israel Trip!

SPIRITUAL PILGRIMAGE AND COMMUNITY BUILDING
This trip is designed to provide a powerful spiritual experience as well as the educational, cultural, and inspirational learning opportunities of a pilgrimage to Israel. It will also be a rich community-building experience with others in the Body of Christ.

SCHOLARSHIPS
A limited number of scholarships from $1,500 to $3,000 per person are available for pastors from the KC area who have not been to Israel previously. To apply for a scholarship, please complete the scholarship form along with the other application forms for the trip. The deadline for applying for an Israel trip scholarship is August 10, 2026. (All 5 Israel Trip application forms must be completed and submitted before a trip scholarship will be confirmed.)

TRIP COSTS AND DEADLINES FOR TRIP SCHOLARSHIP APPLICANTS

• Trip Application and $500 deposit are due by August 10, 2026.
• Trip Scholarship Form is due by August 10, 2026.
• All other trip forms are due by August 10, 2026.
• Remaining amount due (after scholarship and deposit) must be paid by October 20, 2026.
• Prices listed above are based on double occupancy. An additional $900 per person is due by October 31, 2026 if single occupancy is requested.

TRIP COSTS AND DEADLINES FOR ALL OTHER TRIP APPLICANTS

• Trip Application and $500 deposit are due by August 10, 2026.
• Trip Participation Form is due by August 31, 2026.
• Trip Policies Form is due by August 31, 2026.
• Trip Terms and Conditions Form is due by August 31, 2026.
• Total of $4,900 (including deposit) is due by October 31, 2026.
• Prices listed above are based on double occupancy. An additional $900 per person is due by October 31, 2026, if single occupancy is requested and required.

WHAT THE TRIP COST INCLUDES

Flights departing from and returning to Kansas City International Airport, lodging accommodations, ground transportation, breakfasts and dinners in Israel, Israeli tour guide, tip for Israeli tour guide, tip for Israeli bus driver, tips at lodging locations, entrance fees for tour sites, leadership, and administration.

WHAT THE TRIP COST DOES NOT INCLUDE

Anything that is not mentioned in the above section entitled, “WHAT THE TRIP COST INCLUDES,” e.g. passports; immunizations; lunches in Israel; any food, drinks, or other expense at airports; water other than during breakfast and dinner; international trip medical insurance; trip cancellation insurance; any medical costs; any expense incurred due to an early trip home due to health/medical reasons and/or behavioral issues. Note: bottles of water will be available for purchase at a reasonable price on the bus.
