Nations (people groups) of the world have come to the Kansas City metro area! God has blessed the citywide Church of KC with these amazing followers of Jesus. Join us for this dinner gathering to fellowship, learn, celebrate, and hear stories from the Vietnamese people! The Bible tells us in the book of Revelation that in the future every people group will be gathered around the throne of Jesus and worshiping Him! This will be a heavenly gathering as we celebrate Vietnamese brothers and sisters in Christ!

Church Purpose
The purpose of our church is to witness to our community, our nation, and the world, through words and deeds of compassionate ministry, the salvation and lordship of Jesus and to increase in our devotion to the teachings of the Bible, to loving fellowship with each other, to sincere and spiritual worship of our Lord, and to dynamic prayer.
Welcome Letter
Greetings, we are the Vietnamese Baptist Church of Kansas City, Missouri. Our church is a result of Southern Baptist ministry to the needs of immigrants from Southeast Asia during the 1980s in obedience to God’s desire that the people of God “…love the foreigner…”

In the year 2000 we organized as a church with the purpose of witnessing through words and compassionate deeds, the salvation and Lordship of Jesus, and to grow in devotion to the teachings of Jesus, loving fellowship with each other, sincere spiritual worship, and dynamic prayer
(Acts 2:42)
Today, we are a community of followers of Jesus seeking to live by His teachings and to build the Kingdom of God. We welcome you to come learn and grow to be God’s people along with us. Whether you are from Vietnam and speak Vietnamese or speak English but have an interest in the language and culture of Vietnam, we hope you can find a home in our church.
