The Celebration of the Nations ministry continues on during 2025….after an amazing inaugural year during 2024. More than 30 nations of KC metro area followers of Jesus were represented at the 2024 Big Event!
In addition to the Big Event, we had five spotlight events during 2024, with celebrations at Sudanese Community Church, Bhutanese Nepali Church of Kansas City, Haitian American Baptist Church, First Hmong Missionary Alliance Church, and Iglesia JesuCristo El Buen Pastor.
During 2025, we had three spotlight events, with celebrations at Mlima Wa Sinai Church, Kansas Myanmar Bible Church, and House of God Community Church.
It was a huge blessing to worship and pray together at these eight spotlight events with Jesus followers from many different nations and people groups, including the Sudanese, Bhutanese, Nepali, Haitian, Hmong, Cuban, Congolese, Burmese, and Liberian people!
The Celebration of the Nations Grand Event for 2025 will be on Saturday, October 25, at Macedonia Baptist Church. This year we are expecting more than 50 nations of KC-area Jesus followers to be represented at this Grand Event!

CELEBRATION OF THE NATIONS IN KC – JUNE 2024 UPDATE!
In 2024, we prioritzed the Celebration of the Nations within the citywide KC-area Body of Christ. Several special gatherings were facilitated for 2024, giving opportunity for other Jesus followers to learn from churches of various ethnicities. This was amazing! For 2024, this ministry culminated with a big celebration on November 2…with more than 30 nations of KC-area Jesus followers represented. It was a heavenly gathering, celebrating how the Lord is working through these nations of Christian faith communities in our city. Imagine a delectable variety of ethnic cuisine, beautiful worship music from various nations, and compelling stories from the life journeys of these devoted Christ followers. It truly was amazing! Now, we are continuing our efforts to build awareness about this very important part of the citywide Church!

- Pray for Sudan and South Sudan – until now people are dying and suffering because of war.
- Pray for unity of all churches to come and work together in harmony.
- Pray for the youth – most of our youth are now lost and living under drugs.
- Pray for our church leaders and our congregation to focus on work of God and hope for the best.
- Pray for our church projects for God to open a way.

- For the Youth group, for the men’s group, for the church choir, the Ladies group, for God to send workers for the children ministry and the outreach ministries
- For God to make a heart transplant in the people living in Haiti
