AN INSPIRATIONAL TESTIMONY
OF TRAUMA HEALING
I was struggling with the fact that my dog had got run over and died. I really love that little stinker. And I’ve been struggling with my relationship with my two daughters and then now I need to lose 40 pounds before I can get the hip replacement. So that had me down in the dumps.
Plus I can always work on a little help from childhood trauma, marriage trauma. So, the class was important to me because I felt like I had some broken heart issues. The class taught me that suffering is inevitable but we don’t have to hold onto it forever we can move on from that and forgiveness to my children for their unforgiving spirit and my own unforgiving spirit towards them. I can only hold onto that anger for so much and then it will eat you up. And forgiving them has help me to realize that they are sick not bad people. My alcoholism did a lot of damage to them but they seem to think I’m the one with the problem not them when I can see that it is affected them also. I accept that God forgives me and I forgive myself. My heart heals as I release the anger and sadness and the unforgiving spirit. The class was awesome and so are the teachers. The food was great and I have hope now!!!!
