SUMMARY:KC Pastors & Church Leaders Network Luncheon with the National Association of Evangelicals
DESCRIPTION:KC Pastors & Church Leaders Network Luncheon\nThe Whole Gospel for a Hurting World: Faithful Leadership in Unstable Times\n\n\nPresented in ministry partnership by the National Association of Evangelicals\, Kansas Christian College\, and The Sending Project. \nThe world is shifting fast. Communities are fracturing. Needs are mounting. And people are watching to see whether the Church has anything real to say. \nThis is not a moment to go quiet. \n\n\nJoin The Sending Project\, the National Association of Evangelicals\, and Kansas Christian College for ministry updates and a conversation designed for pastors and Christian leaders who want to lead with both conviction and credibility — in their congregations\, their communities\, and the public square. \n\n\nSteven Eng\, NAE Advocacy Director\, and Joel Kersey\, NAE South Central Regional Representative\, will be joined by local pastors to explore what faithful\, whole-Gospel leadership looks like in a generation marked by immigration tensions\, economic pressure\, global poverty\, life-impeding trauma\, and a watching world hungry for answers the Church actually has. \n\nTogether we’ll examine:\n\nWhy credible Gospel witness requires engaging the hard conversations\, not avoiding them\nHow churches are practically addressing immigration\, poverty\, and global healthcare — in partnership with governments and ministries around the world\nHow to lead your congregation with both truth and grace when the issues feel impossibly polarized\nHow to minister to people in a way that brings restoration and healing in the midst of societal turmoil and trauma\n\nThis is not about politics. It’s about mission. And the most effective missionaries have always gone where the need is greatest.\n\n\n\n\n\n\nOptional Campus Tour: Dr. Chad Pollard\, President of Kansas Christian College\, will lead a campus tour\, starting at approximately 1:50pm. This tour will last approximately 30 minutes.\n\n\n\nFEATURED PRESENTERS\n\nSteven Eng\n \nSteven Eng\, NAE advocacy director\, works with evangelical leaders\, pastors\, nonprofit leaders and others to use their God-given influence to bless our nation and world\, rooted in the NAE resource\, “For the Health of the Nation.” An ordained pastor in the Evangelical Covenant Church. Eng has spoken at over 150 events around the country and at meetings and events on Capitol Hill in Washington D.C. He received a degree in political science from St. Olaf College and a M.Div. degree from North Park Theological Seminary.  \nJoel Kersey\n \nJoel Kersey\, NAE south-central regional representative\, works to support advocacy efforts that align with the key principles of the NAE document\, “For the Health of the Nation.” He unites people to advocate for a country that displays God’s care for humanity in all areas of society. Kersey has served in both pastoral ministry and as a teacher in Christian education at the high school and college level. He currently serves on the teaching/preaching team of his church. He completed his bachelor’s degree in business administration from Sacramento State University and a M.Div. degree from Multnomah Biblical Seminary. \n\n\nThis luncheon will be at The Chapel at Kansas Christian College.\nRegister with promo code Sending to attend this event for FREE.\nREGISTER
