DESCRIPTION:Mid-September Oxygen Masks On: Parents First course\nThis 12-week course is led by Kim Jones and is open to parents or primary caregivers of an LGBTQ-identified child or those whose child identifies as an LGQTQ ally. Kim’s personal struggles\, trauma-informed training\, and more than 2\,000 hours of facilitating various types of small groups have equipped her to offer care to parents with empathy\, wisdom\, and a commitment to biblical truth. This course will help you understand your own emotional reactions\, develop practical skills for remaining regulated and engaged during difficult conversations\, and gain a deeper understanding of what may be happening beneath your child’s reactions.
