You are invited to join us on Friday\, September 26\, for the answers to these questions and others you might have concerning this issue in Kansas City. This event is being hosted by the Police & Faith Leaders Networks of Johnson and Wyandotte Counties. However\, this information will be relevant to anyone in the law enforcement and faith communities Metro-wide. \nThe meeting will be held at the Olathe Police Department Community Room from 9am-12pm. \nCome at 8:30am for a meet and greet time with coffee and pastries. \nOur featured presenters are: \n\nRon Miller\, US Marshall for the Kansas Region\nDr Jim Wood with Immigrant Connection in Olathe\nHilary Singer\, Executive Director of Jewish Vocational Services\, Kansas City\, MO\nSgt Jason Hinkle\, Lenexa PD; Pastor Darren Oglesbee\, Reach Church in Paola; and Lt Jon Koch\, JOCO Sheriff’s Office will be sharing about the opportunity to train and minister to police in Honduras in January 2026.\n\nThis meeting is not open to the public\, but you can forward the invitation on to those you would like to have personally join you for the meeting. Space is limited so register early. \nUse promo code Police.FaithLeaders to register for this gathering for FREE. \nWe look forward to seeing you there! \nPastor Lee Jost – NCircle \nMajor John Roland – Olathe PD \nPastor Clint Hall – The Sending Project \n\n\nUse promo code Police.FaithLeaders to register for this gathering for FREE.\nREGISTER HERE\n\n  \nFEATURED PRESENTERS\n  \n\nHilary Cohen Singer\n \nHilary Cohen Singer has been the Executive Director of Jewish Vocational Services (JVS)\, Kansas City\, MO since 2014.  Hilary holds a B.A. in Political Science from Columbia University\, and a B.A. in Modern Jewish Studies form the Jewish Theological Seminary of America.  She earned her Master’s of Public Administration form the Wagner School Of Public Service at New York University. \n\n\nRev Doctor Jim Wood\n\nRev Doctor Jim Wood has been the Executive Director of Immigrant Connection in Olathe\, KS. since 2014.  Immigrant Connection is dedicated to providing low-cost confidential legal services to individuals who are eligible to apply for immigration benefits.  Jim is also a DOJ Accredited Legal Representative with Immigrant Connection.  He is currently the Lead Pastor at Olathe Wesleyan Church.\nHe has a B.S. degree from Indiana Wesleyan University\, a Master of Divinity degree from Trinity Evangelical School and a Doctor of Ministry degree from Dallas Theological Seminary.\n\n\nDarren Oglesbee\n \nDarren Oglesbee is a pastor\, church planter\, and over the last 5 years has had the privilege of participating in international missions to Nicaragua\, Ukraine\, and Honduras.  Darren currently serves as a pastor at Lenexa Baptist Church and is is the Campus Pastor at Reach Church in Paola\, KS. \n  \n\nRon Miller\n \nRon Miller is the US Marshall for the Kansas Region appointed to this position by the President in 2015. Ron holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Central Missouri and a master’s degree from Wichita State University.  He is a graduate of the FBI National Academy\, the Southern Police Institute\, and the Senior Management Institute for Policing\, FBI-LEEDS\, and the US Secret Service Dignitary Protection Program. \n  \n\nSergeant Jason Hinkle\n\nSergeant Jason Hinkle has served in law enforcement for more than 25 years and has been with the Lenexa Police Department since 2007. Throughout his career\, he has worked in patrol\, investigations\, and in leadership roles across a variety of assignments. Currently\, he is the supervisor of the Community Policing Unit. \n  \n\nLt Jon Koch\n \n  \nLt Jon Koch has been in law enforcement since 1997 and with the Johnson County Sheriff’s Office since 2008.  Jon has worked in Patrol\, Communications\, and Detention at various points in his career and currently serves as a Watch Commander for the Patrol Division.  Jon has been part of Peer Support for the last 15 years and is currently the Administrator of the Peer Support Team for Johnson County Sheriff’s Office.  Jon is also the Coordinator of the Regional Coordinators for the non-profit\, FRST Midwest\, where he assists with training new and veteran Peer Support team members as well as coordinates Peer Support’s response to critical incidents.\n  \n\nUse promo code Police.FaithLeaders to register for this gathering for FREE.\nREGISTER HERE\n\n
