As an advocate for citizen involvement in government\, she has served the community both as a volunteer and an elected city official. \nKaren and her husband\, Dan\, have been married 46 years and have 3 wonderful kids\, a daughter-in-law and a son-in-law. She has 5 perfect grandchildren\, Lincoln\, Aly\, Noah\, Jackson\, Rosie.  Karen and Dan co-founded a ministry called Philemon International that provided hospitality for missionaries in their 125-year old Victorian home for over 20 years. \nShe is the Founder of KB Speaks\, a ministry that motivates and empowers others to live an inspired life.  Karen has been a Regional Speaker Trainer for Stonecroft Ministries\, serves in her church and leads the KC Women Leaders Missional Network in Kansas City. In her most recent book “Write It Down” Karen shares about the Power of Journaling. She loves spending time with her family\, traveling and enjoying her summers at the lake. \n\n  \nREGISTER HERE\n

A career highlight came when she was selected—alongside three board members—to represent the United States at the Caribbean Regional Convention in Barbados. \nRuthie’s heart beats for Scripture. Before stepping into ministry\, Melissa spent twelve years as a high school teacher\, nurturing a love for helping young people—and their families—grow in faith and character. \nHer heart for ministry is centered on walking alongside parents and families\, encouraging them through community and the truth of Scripture. She has been actively serving in national youth ministry since founding Enlightened Students in 2014\, a national movement of students organizing and leading worship events in high schools. Claim Your Campus (CYC) was founded in 2009 and has already reached 30\,000+ students with a call to pray weekly for their middle and high schools. Williamson became the director of CYC in 2021 after graduating from Indiana Wesleyan University in 2020 with a Master’s Degree in Practical Theology.
