 *********************************************\nEric Rochester will update
us on The Sending Project ministry.\nEric Rochester is the Founder\, Presi
dent\, and Executive Director of The Sending Project\, a nonprofit ministr
y organization based in the KC area\, which exists to mobilize and unite C
hristian churches and the overall Christian community in a common effort t
o fulfill the Great Commission and reduce physical\, emotional\, and spiri
tual poverty in the world.\nThe Sending Project began in 2009 and\, over t
he years\, has networked with more than 300 KC- area churches and more tha
n 200 KC- area ministries. Currently\, The Sending Project’s key ministr
y priorities include: Connection Revolution\, Scripture Saturation\, Cele
bration of the Nations\, and Trauma Healing.\n\nUnder the banner of Conne
ction Revolution\, Eric hosts a bi-weekly podcast featuring various leader
s from the Body of Christ\, building awareness about their ministries and
encouraging Kingdom connections. The Connection Revolution ministry also i
ncludes several citywide missional networks and other connection ministry
efforts. The strategy is this: better Kingdom connection among Jesus follo
wers results in greater advancement of Jesus’ revolutionary truth and lo
ve.\n\nEric enthusiastically reflects: “The Lord brought together a conv
ergence of several key themes to form and continue to shape my ministry ca
 lling: missional and cross-cultural ministry\, unity building\, ministry p
 artnerships\, Kingdom networking\, God's Word\, God’s heart for the nati
ons\, and the citywide Body of Christ working together well.”\n\nBefore
launching The Sending Project\, Eric served at the executive leadership le
vel in the local church context and the nonprofit ministry context for nea
rly two decades. In total\, he has served at the executive leadership leve
l in the church or para-church context for the past 34 years.\n\nEric is a
big sports fan\, especially KC- area sports: including the Chiefs and the
Royals…and\, at the risk of creating division…the nearby Kansas Jayha
wks. Eric is quick to emphasize that our unity in Jesus transcends sports
rivalries!\n\nEric and his wife\, Marcia\, live in the KC area\, and their
blended family includes four adult children and their spouses\, plus nine
grandchildren. To God be the glory!\n\nEric emailed me the following: The
Lord has recently been reminding me of His great heart for the nations. P
salm 67 is one powerful passage among many\, many\, many others in the Bib
le that relate to this. Psalm 67 is an amazing prayer to the Lord\, asking
that His saving power be known "among all nations."\n\nHere are the first
three verses of Psalm 67:\n\n1 May God be gracious to us and bless us\n
and make his face to shine upon us\, Selah\n2 that your way may be kno
wn on earth\,\nyour saving power among all nations.\n3 Let the peoples p
raise you\, O God\;\nlet all the peoples praise you!\n\nEric Rochester can

\nSince restarting CrossPoint Community Church in the late 1990’s\, Denn

devoted Christ followers. Pastor Dennis is a clear voice for racial right
eousness and social justice as being a true reflection of the love of Chri
st\, both outside and inside the Church (Matthew 22: 37-40). Leading by ex

promoting the well-being of children\, youth and families\, as well as rac

Justice).  CURJ is a collaboration of Believers from various churches &am
p\; organizations who love and follow Jesus and believe God has called the
Body of Christ to live in unity and use its prophetic voice to nurture tr
ue justice in a multicultural\, pluralistic society. As Christ’s Ambassa

y God.\n\nDennis holds a Master of Divinity degree from Nazarene Theologic
al Seminary and taught graduate level courses on Urban Ministry.  He has
served as a pastor in the Church for 40 years.  He and his wife Sherri ha
