The KC Missional Prayer Leaders Network is a diverse citywide network of missional prayer leaders building awareness, community, and collaboration around Jesus and missional prayer. This network catalyzes zealousness for God’s name to be glorified through missional prayer by exploring and reinforcing the importance and power of missional prayer from God’s point of view.





Adrion Roberson

Pastor Adrion Roberson is a  Kansas City native. Born and raised in Kansas City, Kansas, he has a deep appreciation for the community atmosphere that has been attributed to this area of the country. Adrion and his wife Vicky have been married for 40 years, have three sons, three daughters-in-law, and are the proud grandparents of six wonderful grandchildren.

Adrion has over 30 years of experience in both the ‘for-profit’ and ‘not-for-profit’ business/academic sectors. He says, “The experiences I have gone through, I believe, have given me a definite advantage in being empathetic and sympathetic to deal with all levels of people”.

Adrion received his B.S. from Calvary University, in the area of Urban Pastoral Theology where he now serves as a member of the Calvary Executive Board. He serves on the faculty at the Kansas Leadership Center as a facilitator in Wichita, Ks. He is also the Co-Pastor of Berean Fellowship Church (an entity of the ReBuild Initiative, Atlanta, Ga.) He is the Executive Director/Co-Founder of KC UNITED! Youth/Family Sports & Education Initiative. He serves on the Governor’s Criminal Justice Reform Committee and was recently named the 2019 recipient of the Governor’s Kansas Health Champions award. In 2020 he launched DESTINY! Consulting (B.H.C.) *Building. Human. Capacity. He recently has received his certification as a Biblical trauma healing facilitator through the Trauma Healing Institute. Finally, he is now a member of the John Maxwell leadership team.

Adrion’s strengths are in: Adaptive thinking/adaptive Leadership Development, Biblical Trauma Healing Facilitation, The Fathering Initiative, Conflict Management, Teamwork, Coaching and Mentoring, Life-skill/Personal VALUE development and recently Abstinence Until Marriage (Sex, Drugs, Alcohol, Tobacco and Violence) and Urban Community Development. He is also a certified marriage/relationship trainer for “Love Thinks”.  He also has over 15 years of HR/Training experience

Mr. Roberson states, “We can no longer afford to act as if things will change if we do not deal with the issues. We can accomplish this by deliberately believing that a change of heart will bring about a change of mind only through the power of the gospel and Jesus Christ”.
