Phil HeadshotPhilip Struble

is currently President of Landplan Engineering, a small urban engineering
company located in Lawrence, Kansas, with an office in Houston, Texas. Through forty years of engineering design and business management experience, Philip has developed an intense interest in business management.

Being an owner of a small engineering company for the past thirty years, this interest in management has been allowed to grow. Years of experience have expanded his wealth of knowledge on top of that collected from the many authors such as Jim Collins, Geoff Colvin, Patrick Lencioni, Geno Wickman, Seth Godin, and Larry Burkett, who line his office bookshelf.

In addition to his pure business knowledge, however, Philip had added his interest in interpreting the Bible and applying it to life. His realization that the Bible already contains most of the business advice presented by his favorite authors drove him to write Zebedee and Sons Fishing Co., Business Advice from the Bible. This book is the first of many writings by Philip to explore the use of Scripture as a tool for determining how to better manage and run a business. To bolster his qualifications for combining business and the Bible, Philip has a Degree in civil engineering, a Master’s Degree in business administration, and a Master’s Degree in theology.
He is presently in the ColsonFellows Program out of The Colson Center in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Philip and his wife Stephanie live on a small hobby farm south of Lawrence, Kansas. They have four adult children and two grandchildren.
