Another Story of Jesus Healing a Wounded Heart – Chandra’s Inspirational Testimony of Trauma Healing

I went through the Initial Equipping April 1-9, 2022. I had gone through a Trauma Healing Group, and I knew God was prompting me to get trained in Trauma Healing because of the how it complimented other areas of ministry I am involved in, and I was just waiting for the right timing. Listening to the facilitators and others share about the healing power of God’s Word was confirmational and encouraging, hearing the effects of His love and His power in the lives of others.

The greatest impact I received was how well the materials are organized and how equipped the facilitators are by the program. I had some apprehension regarding whether I could lead a healing group, however the material is so robust and allows the facilitator to be well equipped.

The experience was rich in that we were set in small groups, and it gave us a chance to know other people who were going through the training. This also gave the opportunity to hear aspects of the training from other’s perspectives in addition to what you would be mindful of yourself. Other’s input, experience, and ideas enriched the learning.

The sessions and God’s Word allowed the healing to happen at a deeper level and reinforced conceptions or scriptures I was aware of but had yet to apply those scriptures to certain trauma in my life. I feel different after participating. I feel equipped both in my life as well as the ability to facilitate a trauma healing group. I even feel more confident in the word of God and the promises of God for my life.

My life has been changed by being able to release areas of trauma as well as the effects. If I had not participated in Trauma Healing, I would still have been in bondage in some areas in my life. I would tell someone considering being involved in Trauma Healing that it is both beneficial and necessary to grow as a child of God.
